MUCEM

The Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, which was officially opened on 4 June 2013 by President François Hollande and Culture and Communication Minister, Aurélie Filippetti, is a new national museum devoted to European and Mediterranean cultures.

Deployment of a document search application for MUCEM collections

Teams from Jouve indexed and annotated all the museum’s collections and the chosen application was enhanced to enable browsing of collections by image and guided searches (alphabetic or thematic searches, list of new items, etc.). Moreover, it is possible to display results, access item descriptions, and view related digital documents.
