Paris, 10 February 2014 – The Paris transport authority (RATP) has awarded the Jouve Group the contract for digitizing and processing offense notices issued on the three RATP networks (bus, metro and regional express railway (RER)).
Using the digital processing platform set up by Jouve, it will be possible to provide comprehensive management of sensitive data from over a million handwritten offense notices every year.
This large-scale project will see teams from Jouve take charge of the entire processing workflow for offense notices, from receipt to automated updating of the RATP Penalty Collection Center computer system.
In order to ensure high-quality digitization and improve the RATP’s penalty collection rate, digitization operations will be performed by an experienced Jouve production team and the inputting service will be provided within 48 working hours of offense notices being collected.
Jouve will apply its automatic character recognition solutions for complex paper/digital content to this end. These technologies have already been successfully trialled for processing forms for the French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
With the Jouve industrial digital processing platform and the services provided, the confidentiality of documents and input information is protected, document quality and traceability is guaranteed, and deadlines are met regardless of fluctuations in workload.
