Jouve was awarded two trophies in the Blockchain and Paperless categories at the Banque et Innovation trade fair, which took place in Paris on September 19, 2017. The Jouve product powered by Pikcio is a KYC data remediation solution combined with a secure sharing platform. It facilitates exchanges and monetization of customer data while complying with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2).

With this solution, Jouve has provided a response to the financial and regulatory challenges entailed by KYC for banking organizations in France and around the world. KYC requires banks and insurance companies to collect information to identify their customers in order to prevent fraud and money laundering.
In France, bank account penetration is at an all-time high, with 99% of French people holding at least one current or savings account. Advanced KYC checks are therefore invariably carried out several times on the same individual, which means that end customers are faced with multiple procedures and significant processing costs are incurred.
Jouve has developed a new KYC data capture and sharing solution using Jouve Mobile Capture and remediation workflow technologies combined with the Pikcio-chain platform developed by MatchUpBox. Using this genuine KYC data trading room, member organizations can share the KYC data they hold for their customers, improve the user experience, and make it easier to cross-sell products. All this takes place in a highly secure environment and in accordance with all applicable regulations.
The blockchain process certifies data transfer and ensures that the transfered information is the same as the original. It also enables data to be monetized between the receiving and issuing organization. Moreover, end customers can control which entities are able to share their data in accordance with the GDPR and PSD2 on the protection of personal data.
Tackling fraud and protecting private data are major challenges facing the digital world in which we all operate. Jouve is very proud to provide banking and insurance operators with innovative, practical solutions and enable a return on investment for the production of customer data in accordance with the KYC standard“, comments Etienne Vazzoleretto, Head of Marketing.
“Our application meets new challenges in terms of digitizing customer relations and compliance with the most stringent international regulations on personal data protection”, adds Didier Collin de Casaubon, founder of MatchUpBox.
