The Jouve Group, working with the Quaero project
Today, companies and organisations must manage and enhance an increasing volume of information in very diverse formats: from paper to electronic text documents and in which audio or video multimedia information may be incorporated.
In order to satisfy these requirements, Jouve will offer*, to digitise and enhance all of this information. This industrial cooperation is part of the European project, Quaero.

The Quaero project requires Jouve to develop a new industrial platform for scanning, converting, and annotating documents., the goal for Jouve, in the scope of its participation in this project, is to enable libraries, editors, patent offices and industrials to enhance their content and give a new dimension to scientific and technical information.
The objective for Jouve and its partners is to break down the barriers to accessing information, to enhance and develop an integrated solution, taking into account digitisation difficulties, and also linguistic and semantic content analysis.

According to M. Benoit Drigny, Director of Digitalisation Activities for the Jouve Group “With the Quaero program, a new, dynamic distribution of multimedia content is being born. Jouve is bringing all its experience to this ambitious project in order to succeed in combining media and improving the necessary technologies for expanding digital libraries in the cultural, scientific and technical domains, as well as patents.”
