Jouve takes back the "La Manutention" print works at Mayenne, reinforcing the Group’s position in the publishing market

"Following the decision of the commercial courts, Jouve, a market-leading service provider for the entire content value chain, has regained control of La Manutention, a print works based in Mayenne and specialized in the publishing market. The Group welcomes 9 employees into its offset print teams and will work together with their manager Mr Jean-Marc Lizé".
This repossession of the La Manutention print works is part of the investment and commercial development strategy initiated by the Jouve Group in 2009. The print market is radically changing and Jouve has chosen to invest more than 4 million Euros over the past two years to modernize its offset production chain and to develop new digital printing offers (POD platform and reprinting on demand).
According to Pierre-Vincent Debatte, President Director General of the Jouve Group: "Despite the difficult market facing La Manutention, this business benefits from a well qualified staff and from well known customer references. We are delighted to welcome the La Manutention teams and their manager Mr Lizé who will assure the follow-up of clients while proposing new service offerings enriched by the group.”
The Jouve Group will maintain the continuity of services to La Manutention’s existing clients and also offer them new opportunities, including digital printing and reprinting on demand.
La Manutention holds a client portfolio worth 1 million Euros, and since 11th October, 9 of the 17 workers at the print works have already been integrated into Jouve’s teams.
