Editions Joly: an automated solution for real-time type-setting

Known specialist in company law for 60 years, the Editions Joly wanted to optimise the production of the reviews and improve their internal productivity. But how do you standardise working methods, reduce authors’ correction costs and manufacture times to attain these objectives?

Thanks to an automated solution proposed by Jouve, the Editions Joly can now, in real-time and by themselves, validate the quality of their XML files (generated by their internal publication department), correct them and automatically create validated PDF files by using a review model. In order to evaluate their review before publication, nothing can be easier: they only have to select the file and execute the automatic extractions to create a review on-line. Jouve’s teams then ensure the final modifications to the page-layout of these publications.

Linked to a production workflow, this customer interface has enabled the production times to be reduced to one week instead of two, and to reduce typesetting costs by 25%.
