Quai Branly Museum: the art of creating a partnership to rationalise the production of art books.
The Quai Branly Museum wanted to publish a guide presenting the organisation of its collections and an album showing its best items for its opening in 2006. The editorial service required a high-quality production perfectly respecting colours and needed a service provider capable of performing the photoengraving.
Thanks to a detailed and rigorous description of its processing methods, step by step, and to the creation of a dedicated team, the museum was convinced by the proposal of MCP of the Jouve Group. As well as its tradition role of photo-engraver, MCP assisted the Quai Branly Museum, and ensured the interface between the photo-engravers and the printer.
Following a second invitation to tender launched in 2007 by the Quai Branly Museum, MCP was chosen to provide the same services for other publications of the Museum, such as temporary exhibition pamphlet production or the research review “Gradhiva”.
