SAGE: manufactured data industrialised in less than three months!

Publishing more than 115 medical reviews, SAGE wanted to industrialise certain manufactured data (copy editing, page-setting, management of data transfer and author replies, web/print PDF creation and data delivery) and create additional XML data in less than three months.

In order to satisfy these requirements, Jouve created an XML-First workflow which generates a PDF file and an XML file updated in real-time for an Internet publication. “Giotto”, the extranet interface provided to the customer, has a simplified file communication and exchange between SAGE and Jouve.

Thanks to this collaboration, SAGE obtained a standard page-setting quality and a joint PDF and XML delivery system.
