The Luminess Group (formerly Jouve), a corporate citizen partner of national defense

Paris – 20/04/2021 – While the army will be mobilized as reinforcements to support the deployment of vaccination against COVID-19 in France, the Luminess group (formerly Jouve) wishes to recall its commitment to national defence. This commitment is part of a social policy promoting the possibility of being a reservist for its employees, but also in its ability to welcome representatives of national defense within its structure. It is in this context that the Luminess Group hosted Colonel Emmanuel Durville from April 6 to 8.

The Luminess group (formerly Jouve) has been recognized as a "national defense partner" since 2019. This strong commitment has been materialized by the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of the Armed Forces. The latter makes it possible to create this link between national defense and employees wishing to join the military reserve, and facilitates their availability and responsiveness to serve in the National Guard. This agreement guarantees each reservist citizen to have eight days remunerated by the Ministry of the Armed Forces. The Luminess group has chosen to go further and offers its reservist employees two additional days fully paid by the company. Also, the notice periods for the performance of reservist activities during working time, normally one month, have been reduced to two weeks for a period of absence of 1 to 8 days and three weeks for a period of absence of 9 to 10 days.

In order to support this civic commitment, the group has also set up a “reservists” collective insurance contract. This additional coverage makes it possible, if necessary, to avoid any break between activities in the private sector and those in the public sector. This collective contract offers adapted social protection which responds to the specificities of military activities.

A symbol of the strong link between Luminess and national defence, this partnership also allows the Luminess group to share its expertise, its commitments and its decision-making methods with members of the armed forces. This year, we had the honor of hosting Colonel Emmanuel Durville for three days within our society. Currently, in training at the Center for Advanced Military Studies, Colonel Emmanuel Durville, has been immersed in the management and management teams on our various sites to enable him to understand the strategic issues inherent in a large company. intermediate.

This partnership approach with national defence, strengthening the link between civilians and soldiers, between the armed forces and businesses, is fully in line with the Luminess group's corporate social responsibility policy.
